Hooray for you guys. Americans always made better woolens and cloth ware. It is a shame that too many of us went for price rather than quality.
You are my current sole source for woolens
Let me know when you get to the point of being able to make woolen fabrics for men’s suits, then you and Hart Scharner and Marx will beat the world.
Thank you for the kind words and support Tony. It is much appreciated. One step at a time but we will no doubt keep you in the loop!
Mr. Mooty I read your story in the USA Today yesterday and looked up your website today. What a great story and I just want to let you know that you have a huge supporter in me both in your business and in your philosophy. I intend to buy a blanket just because I want to do some small part to help make your effort a successful one. I own a supply chain management company and as I travel around the country nothing makes me happier than
Americans working and manufacturing things in America. Keep up the good work.
Dear Mr. Mooty,
For years I had purchased Fairbault blankets for friends and family. I was deeply saddened when the mill closed and I had not purchased a blanket for myself. This Christmas my sister gave me a wool scarf from the newly reopened mill. Busy with life, I had missed the airing of your reopening on the news. My sister was so excited to surprise me with my own piece of the woolen mill, and I was moved to tears at the gift. Once again I will be able to provide made in Minnesota and made in the USA wollens to my family and friends.
Thank you for your investment in the Fairbault community, for getting people working again, and for providing a quality product made locally!
